- NGWF President Amirul Haque Amin was born in 1961 and he was a student of Dhaka University.
- Amin is the longest serving leader of the organization. He has been fighting for workers’ rights in Bangladesh with admirable courage for over 34 years.
- Amin is the substitute member of the Steering Committee of the Accord on Fire & Building Safety in Bangladesh and Vice president of IndustryALL Bangladesh Council.
- Amirul Haque Amin received in SOCIAL JUSTICE AWARD from Rainbow on 10th July, 2013 and Human Rights Award from Nuremberg International on 27 September, 2015.
