Victimized Garment workers Protest Rally held Demanding for Reinstatement to the 12,436 sacked workers and to withdraw 38 false cases filed in the name of 7,458 workers

So far, the movement of wages for garment workers on December, January & February 1. Have been filed 38 false cases against the garment workers 2. Have been accused 7,458 garment workers 3. Have been sacked 12,436 garment workers. Though 75 arrested workers have received bail, but they being harassed constantly by the police. The family of 1 killed worker has not yet received proper compensation till now. Workers’ dismissal and harassment are still continue.
Today on 23th August 2019 at 11:00 am victimized Garment workers protest rally were held by the National Garment Workers Federation (NGWF) and demanding that, withdrawal the 38 False cases in the name of 7,458 workers, and reinstatement to the 12,436 sacked workers. The program was run from 11 am to 12 pm. Hundreds of workers, with various festoons, took part in the rally
A brief assembly was held in front of national press club before the rally. Presided by Amirul Haque Amin , president of the National Garments Workers Federation ( NGWF) Given Speech the rally : General Secretary of the Federation Mrs Arifa Akhter, Central Leader Miss Safia Parvin, Md farook Khan, Md. Rafiqul Islam , Md. Kobir Hossain, , Esrat Jahan Ela, etc.

Speakers demanding to the Byers, Factory owners, BGMEA & Government that, withdrawal the 38 False cases in the name of 7,458 workers, and reinstatement to the 12,436 sacked workers
Speakers called to the Global trade union federation, different international labor rights organization and consumers to raise their voice and come forward in support for victimized garment workers.
At the end of the assembly, with various festoons a protest rally with started from the national press club , around at the High Court, Topkhana Road, Paltan and ended at the central office of the Federation.
